Tragedy in Süleymanpaşa: Man Kills Wife and Child Before Committing Suicide

In a heartbreaking incident in the 100th Year District of Süleymanpaşa, a family drama unfolded in an apartment building.

According to reports, relatives contacted the police after being unable to reach Duygu Şirin and her husband Şenol Şirin.

Upon receiving the call, the police arrived at the scene and, with the help of a locksmith, entered the apartment. Inside, they discovered the lifeless bodies of three individuals.

Initial findings indicate that Şenol Şirin (41), allegedly experiencing marital issues with his wife Duygu Şirin (35), went into a fit of rage. He reportedly shot his wife and their 5-year-old child before turning the gun on himself.

It was revealed that Şenol Şirin was employed as an officer at the Tekirdağ Police Department. An investigation has been launched into the tragic event.
